The 27,000-square-foot clinic, designed as a comprehensive, community-centric healthcare destination, has selected Eva-Last’s advanced Evolver composite fencing system to deliver a long-lasting, low-maintenance boundary solution that enhances both privacy and aesthetics.
The state-of-the-art medical hub features 24 medical exam rooms, 16 dental operatories, five behavioral health consultation rooms, and a drive-through pharmacy. With the ability to treat thousands more patients than the previous location — exceeding the 48,000 annual visits historically recorded — durability and cleanliness were paramount across the entire build.
In addition to serving patients across Mesa and Montrose counties, the center also houses CMU Tech’s new Dental Hygienist training program, offering on-site office, classroom, and clinical training spaces.
With more than 50,000 visitors expected annually, the design team prioritized materials that deliver hygiene, longevity, and visual appeal without ongoing upkeep. For the perimeter boundary, Chamberlin Architects specified Eva-Last’s Evolver composite fencing system — a solution engineered for high-traffic public environments requiring attractive, structurally robust, and maintenance-free performance.
The fencing needed to:

· Enhance curb appeal at first arrival
· Resist rot, fading, pests, weathering and moisture
· Require no sanding, sealing, or ongoing treatment
· Adapt to varying site elevations without compromising structural integrity
Evolver met all criteria, providing the warmth of timber with the strength of aluminum and the long-term resilience of modern composites.
A Smarter, Stronger, Technology-driven Fencing Solution
Evolver is a next-generation bamboo-composite fence system that blends aesthetic authenticity with engineered strength. Each system consists of either square or octagonal post kits that anchor interlocking composite boards, supported by corrosion-resistant aluminum reinforcement.
· Aluminum posts & componentry provide rigidity, structural stability, and long-term resistance to corrosion and UV exposure.
· Composite boards, made from bamboo fibers and recycled plastics, replicate the natural grain and rich tones of hardwoods without the need for painting, staining, or sealing.
· Color options include Tiger Cove (dark brown) and Concrete Grey for versatile architectural integration.
· Optional accessories such as aluminums spacers and rail kits allow designers to create semi-privacy or decorative configurations.
For the PrimeHealth Plus installation, the dark brown Tiger Cove color was chosen to complement Colorado’s natural landscape and conceal dust common to the region. Powder-coated black aluminum posts added a clean, modern contrast.
The installation, led by England Fencing Company, required minimal adjustment despite the site’s varied grading. Boards slid directly into the grooved aluminum posts, creating a smooth, unified boundary. A matching 6-ft Evolver gate kit completed the main perimeter, while shorter 4-ft posts were used to create an additional privacy enclosure for the staff break area.
